We've seen a lot of sport-related commercials recently, and it's safe to say that the lion's share contained a whole heap of running/jumping/throwing/etc. Exhausting.
Thankfully, PRETTYBIRD director Jess Kohl's The Power of Pause is giving us respite from the grunting and wheezing, instead focussing on the mindset that even when we take a break we’re recovering, refuelling and rebuilding.
Featuring three athletes; Chloe Abbott in Kentucky; Stephen Adjaidoo in London; and Josh Amberger in Brisbane; the film showcases Kohl's filmmaking talents - matching intimate photography with playful camera moves and editing.
